3 ways to create an engaging web meeting experience

There are undoubtedly many ways to prepare, meet and engage online. Enhanced by constantly evolving technology, conferencing solutions have being embraced by businesses of all sizes. Here are 3 ways to make sure your web meetings are engaging for your participants every time.

1. Use a web conferencing application

Technology is improving at such a fast pace that it’s only smart to keep up with it. Make sure your teleconferencing provider offers a web solution as well. Web conferencing lets you add the functionality of sharing desktops and video streaming to enhance your meeting.

2. Prepare for the meeting

As you would for a traditional in-person meeting, it’s vital that you prepare and plan your web meeting. Invite the participants well in advance and make sure that they have access codes before the web meeting starts. Preempt issues related to conferencing equipment - make sure you've tested your equipment prior to the conference.

3. Manage time effectively

Create an agenda and distribute this to your participants ahead of the meeting. This gives everyone a chance to prepare for the topics that will be discussed. Give everybody the chance to ask questions, either in-between each agenda item or at the end.
