Many people are unaware of all the ways they can make their conferencing account work better for them. There are plenty of features available to make your virtual meetings as seamless as possible.
Here are 12 conferencing features Express offers - does your conferencing company offer you the same things?
The host can choose to record any individual conference manually. Express recordings cost only $25 and can be downloaded from our secure server.
If you don't want to worry about forgetting to record an important conference, you can choose to record all of your conferences automatically. Recording will begin when the host joins the conference.
The host can perform a roll call to make sure everybody knows exactly who is taking part in the conference. The roll call is played aloud into the meeting.
You can add new conference groups at any time. Separating your conferences by providing staff with individual Host Codes ensures you can track usage and costs more effectively. Multiple conferences can also be held at the same time
Guests entering the conference will only be able to listen and are unable to talk. This ensures the host is not interrupted by guests while speaking. Guests can then be unmuted later so they can contribute ideas and ask questions. The host can mute all guests at any time during a conference and unmute them when appropriate.
Guests can choose to mute and unmute themselves individually. If they are in a noisy area they can choose to stay on mute so that the noise doesn't play through the whole conference.
Your account can be set so that each guest is asked to record their name upon entry to the conference. The recorded name is then played into conference on entry, exit or both.
In some instances you may need a conference to start quickly - even without the host present. Conference Quickstart allows you to start a conference immediately as parties dial in.
Project codes can be chosen by the host and are used to identify a particular project on your invoice.
The conference can be set to automatically disconnect once the host has hung up. This ensures conferences are shut down when they finish and the host cannot be charged for guests staying on the lines.
For added security, you can choose to lock your conference once all your desired guests have joined.
A Personal Identification Number (PIN) allows you to identify each participant in the conference. This restricts who can attend a conference and allows you to positively identify who attended on your invoice.
